We’d recommend starting with one of our beginner-friendly group classes: Mat Pilates Fundamentals or Reformer Pilates Fundamentals. These are specifically designed for those who are new to Pilates and are a great way to build confidence and understanding alongside others at the same level.
If you’d prefer a more personalised introduction, we also offer 1:1 sessions tailored to your needs. You can book any of these options via our app or website.

Pilates is all about controlled, focused movement to build strength, especially in your core. It helps improve posture, balance, flexibility, and body awareness.
Yoga tends to focus more on stretching, breathing, and holding poses, often with a more meditative or spiritual vibe.
Both are great for your body and mind - but Pilates is a bit more structured and strength-based, while yoga leans more into flow and flexibility.
-
Mat Pilates is done on the floor using just a mat and small props. It’s great for building strength and control using your own body weight.
Reformer Pilates uses a machine with springs to add resistance, which gives you extra support and helps target muscles more deeply. It’s really versatile and great if you want to mix things up or focus on specific goals.
Both are based on the same Pilates principles - just different ways to move. A lot of people enjoy doing a bit of both.
-
We’d recommend you try both! Using our Intro to Pilates class pack, you can try a class at an introductory price, which enables you to try it out and see which you prefer. Both types of Pilates can be adapted to be suitable for Beginners

-
All equipment needed in classes will be provided. You only need to bring yourself, a drink, and grip socks (required for all classes)
-
Grip socks are required for both mat and reformer Pilates for health and safety reasons. We have some for sale at the studio which you are welcome to purchase. You are also more than welcome to bring your own.
-
Wear whatever you are most comfortable in. If doing reformer Pilates, please try to not wear anything too floaty as this may get caught in the tracks of the bed.
-
We offer several options for you to join a class depending on your requirements. Please head to our memberships and packages page. There are options for a single time ‘drop in’, memberships or the option to buy multiple passes
-
You can cancel your space in a class up to 12 hours before the start time of the class. e.g. if you are booked in at 5.30pm, you can cancel no later than 5.29am the same day to receive a full refund of your credit. If you cancel within less than 12 hours, then your credit will not be refunded.
We kindly request that you always cancel if you are unable to make your class for any reason since this will allow others the opportunity to take part, particularly when classes are fully booked.
-
Please arrive to your class at least 10 minutes before the start time if you are a beginner, or 5 minutes before if you are a regular. Once the class has started, you will be unable to join the class and you will lose your credit.

Pilates is safe during pregnancy as long as exercises are adapted. Currently we do not offer pre-natal classes, however we are looking to offer this very soon. For postpartum mums, Pilates is great for regaining strength in your core and pelvic muscles. Once you have been medically cleared after birth, you are able to take part in classes. Please let us know this prior to attending a class, and let your instructor know on the day.
-
Yes, in most cases - but we always recommend checking with your doctor first if you’re recovering from an injury or managing a medical condition. Just let your instructor know before class so they can offer you any modifications or support you might need.
-
We take cleanliness seriously. All equipment is cleaned after every class, and we have hand sanitiser and cleaning spray available throughout the studio. We also ask everyone to wipe down their kit after use and wear grip socks for hygiene and safety.
-
We offer a special Intro to Pilates class pack to help you get started and try out a few sessions at a reduced price.
We don’t offer any other discounts at the moment, but gift cards will be available to purchase soon - keep an eye out for updates!
